FUNIBER signed on 23 May, a collaboration agreement with the Institute of Lawyers for Environmental Protection (INSAPROMA), at the premises of the Foundation in Santo Domingo
The main objective of the agreement is to establish the basis for mutual cooperation between the entities and improve the training of the population in the Dominican Republic.
The event participated Dr. José Luis Sosa, President of INSAPROMA; and Massiel Castro, Executive Director of FUNIBER.
As part of the agreement, both institutions are committed to develop training programs to contribute to the continuous training of the students and employees of INSAPROMA related to the environment, in the form of remote education through a virtual environment. Also, the organizations are responsible to develop joint training activities such as lectures, seminars and workshops.
Recently, FUNIBER and INSAPROMA have jointly organized the conference “Effects of Climate Change in the world and the Dominican Republic” given by Elvira Carles.
INSAPROMA is an organization founded in 2001 that aims to contribute to the preservation and protection of the environment and natural resources, protection of human rights, environmental health, consumer rights and the promotion of environmental governance through awareness programs and projects aimed at defending the implementation of national and international standards.
